Its single-layer structure, made possible by new high-capacity cells, is smaller and lighter than the standard 4Ah two-layer battery while delivering equivalent performance. This makes it perfect for serial and overhead tasks.

Also in the range and available from Dax Tools is the "Performance Battery" ProCORE 18v x 8.0Ah available for a broader spectrum of applications including more powerful tasks with it's performance comparable to that of a 1600w corded power supply. For particularly intensive applications with cordless rotary hammers, angle grinders or circular saws etc there is the "Endurance Battery" ProCORE 18v x 12.0Ah.
